The Active Kids Rebate is now available.
The Active Kids Rebate program is an initiative of the NSW Government to get kids moving and allows for parents to claim a $100 reduction in registration fees. In order to be eligible children must be aged between 4.5 and 18 years’ old and enrolled in school. This includes those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW. It will not be means tested and one voucher will be available for every child in the family annually with no limits on the number of applications per family, as long as every child is enrolled in school.
Further details on the program can be found through the NSW Office of Sport Website.
To claim the reduction in fees with Normanhurst Eagles Football Club the following steps need to be taken as part of the registration process.
To obtain the voucher (a unique code), you (parents/guardian) will need to access the Service NSW website, login to your existing account or create a new one, and register each of your eligible children using their Medicare Card.
Once registered, you will receive a unique voucher code for each child (on the screen and via email).
At the time of registering each player with Normoeagles FC on the MyFootballClub, select the $100 Active Kids discount and input the voucher code number in the field provided.
Upon entry of a valid code, the system will automatically deduct $100 off the invoice total
As there is only one voucher per child, once it has been used on one sport, it will not work if attempt is made to use on another sport.
Please note that as the codes are provided by Service NSW and require private information in order to be generated, Normoeagles FC won’t be able to assist with providing the voucher codes.
